When we repent of sin, God forgives us. If you have had an abortion, Jesus is waiting to take you into his arms in forgiveness and love.

"The whole world needs to adopt China's one-child policy" -Commentary

Diane Francis in an article entitled "The Real Inconvenient Truth" and sub-titled, "The whole world needs to adopt China's one-child policy" ( Financial Post published on December 08, 2009, Canada) had this to say:
"The 'inconvenient truth' overhanging the UN's Copenhagen conference is not that the climate is warming or cooling, but that humans are overpopulating the world.
Oh boy. When I began to read the entire article I thought it had to be a joke, a parody on communism. But no, the writer wrote genuinely, although, in my opinion, insanely, on the virtues of  the one child per family rule. I was under the illusion, apparently, that even non-Christians in the west believed this policy to be barbaric. I am now even more aware of the fact that we are living in barbaric times. That we even have to debate partial-birth abortion is an enormous indicator of how far we have declined morally, even humanly, in the past one hundred years in this nation.
When the government rules our child-birth rates, we will have lost every right as citizens and will no longer be living in a free nation. Look for more insane ranting of this "one-child policy" vein in the future. The problem is, the noise starts small, but it grows. Fifty years ago, who would have thought that there would be debate on same sex marriages, let alone civil unions? Who would have thought that it would be legal to kill an unborn baby?
We need to be aware of  global conversations because of the threat that those from other lands will influence or even direct our nation's laws. The UN endorses abortions and promotes the idea of global warming (as if the climate has never changed before). We need to pray that the UN will not advance it's ideas into our nation's laws. As a one-world government continues to advance towards our shores we need to be aware that this change can be insidious just as evil can be insidious.
Our basic human rights regarding reproductive freedom are at risk as this evil rhetoric from the vocal few climbs and creeps into national and international conversations.
